Barks Pets Store opened in September of 2006 in Liverpool and since then has developed into one of the North West's premier pet shops. It not only stocks general food and accessories for domestic pets but has also reserved a large portion of the store devoted to our wide and varied selection of exotic reptiles. We are also expanding our aquatic section with all the accessories and decoration. 
Throughout our site you will find not only products to purchase online, but also a great deal of information about our store. For example, you can view our live stock list, take a tour of our store, and even see some of our display creatures through our web cams. What services we offer and what we sellBark's Pets is primarily an exotic reptile shop located in Liverpool in the North West of England. We sell a variety of products online and in store. Within the store you may purchase live reptiles which include snakes, lizards, tarantulas but also the likes of small animals ranging from rodents (e.g. rats, mice, hamsters, gerbils etc.) to specific breeds of guinea pigs and rabbits. Naturally if you wish to buy one of our rabbits guinea pigs or rodents you will find all the accessories and food for those also. These include the likes of the popular brands such as Excel and Wagg and many different treats to complement their food. We do stock more exotic small animals and the foods for them such as Chinchillas, Chipmunks, Dagus etc. You would also find the likes of dog and cat accessories such as dog and cat toys, food, collars, leads and harnesses. We do not however sell dogs and cats themselves but we do sell all the health products associated with them such as worming tablets and flea removing products for canines and felines. You may also require a kennel or dog crate for your dog, a cat house or scratching post / tower for your cat, a hutch or run for your rabbit or guinea pig or finally a cage large or small for your small rodent. Most of these items are usually kept within stock although on some occasions for specific items we may need to order them specifically for your needs. Reptiles
With respect to live reptiles you will find a wide variety of exotic reptiles and accessories for your pet including our popular full set-ups which include all the equipment you need ready-built such as the vivarium (the tank), substrate (reptilian bedding), lighting and heating equipment, thermometers / hygrometers and a small quantity of food either being live or frozen depending on the animal.
When it comes to choosing your reptile you will find a large choice to choose from when it comes to snakes for example. You may have more of a preference with lizards in which we too have a wide range of species. And from these species you can also find many variations for example, if you want a bearded dragon you will find morphs such as sunset, sunrise, red phase, citrus, common and the rare blood phase plus more. Some of our common species of lizards we stock include leopard geckos, crested geckos, yemen chameleons, jackson chameleons, blue tongued skinks, monitors (e.g. bosc monitors) and many more. Tortoises are also very popular with herman, leopard, sulcatta, horsefield. red foot, cherry head and indian star's selling very well. We also stock many tarantulas for the enthusiasts. These include red-knee, indian ornamental, chile rose, zebra leg, white-knee, cobalt blue, goliath bird eater etc. We are expanding our amphibian section stocking fire bellied toads, whites tree frogs, posion arrow toads, red eye tree frogs, fire bellied newts and still continuing to extend our range. When it comes to feeding your snake we stock frozen mice (pinkies, fuzzies, small, medium, large, giant and jumbo), frozen rats (pups, fluffs, weaners, crawlers, small, medium, large and jumbo), frozen guinea pigs, frozen gerbils, frozen hamsters, frozen day old chicks, adult and baby quail and frozen rabbits. If you own a lizard or other reptile you may require with varying sizes locusts, brown and black crickets, curly wing flies, flight-less fruit fly culture, small worms, medium worms, giant lob worms, mealworms (mini, buffalo, giant, standard), morio worms, wax worms and caterpillars. We also sell all of the above in bulk should you require it.
